Our team understands how profoundly low back pain can interfere with daily life, whether it appears suddenly or develops gradually. Symptoms may extend into the legs, accompanied by tingling or reduced strength. The lumbar vertebrae, discs, joints and supporting muscles frequently contribute to these issues. Changes in movement patterns often intensify discomfort. We focus on identifying these factors and delivering informed guidance.
We provide professional support for those troubled by headaches and migraines, aware that these conditions affect a significant proportion of the population each year. Their causes are often multifaceted, ranging from stress and medication effects to upper-neck joint dysfunction and muscular tightness. We evaluate whether symptoms relate to common primary headaches or the uncommon secondary variety. Our focus is on helping individuals manage these challenges effectively.
We understand the demands placed on the cervical spine, which supports the weight and movement of the head while housing crucial nerve connections. Neck pain remains a frequent reason individuals seek our assistance, with many experiencing symptoms caused by acute incidents or gradual biomechanical changes. Factors such as posture, repetitive tasks, and stress often contribute. Our service is designed to guide patients towards effective, personalised relief.
We provide focused chiropractic care for pregnancy back and pelvic pain, using gentle hands-on methods tailored to the changing demands placed on the body. Our clinicians offer safe techniques designed to reduce discomfort and improve functional ease. We also guide you on posture and everyday activity to help you remain as comfortable and mobile as possible.
Our pregnancy massage is designed to nurture you through the many physical and emotional shifts that accompany pregnancy. By easing tension, enhancing circulation, and supporting natural processes, each session promotes comfort and relaxation. Under the care of Rosie Evans, who is specially trained in pregnancy massage, you receive treatment tailored to your changing needs. It is a dedicated moment for rest and reassurance.
Through our paediatric chiropractic service, we offer attentive support for babies and young children, drawing on Katie Champions specialist training in child development and gentle treatment methods. We conduct thorough assessments to understand each concern and tailor our approach with care. Parents frequently turn to us for guidance, and we aim to provide reassurance. Our focus is always on comfort, safety and effective care.
We provide professional care for Repetitive Strain Injuries, addressing conditions that arise from ongoing tension and overuse in muscles, tendons and joints. Our approach acknowledges the impact of occupational duties, sporting activity and everyday household tasks on the development of issues such as rotator cuff impingement, tennis elbow and plantar fasciitis. We assess how repetitive actions, posture and forceful movements contribute to your symptoms. Each treatment plan is tailored to support recovery and promote long-term comfort.
Our Morningside Chiropractic Clinic has undergone a full refurbishment, offering highly accessible and modern facilities. Operating from the same general area since 2011, we occupy a Victorian property that has been completely updated to provide exceptional comfort. We understand that many patients seek our care while in considerable pain, and we are committed to delivering professional and effective treatment.
On attending your first session, you can anticipate a professional introduction and a welcoming environment. Our team will explore your medical history, current issues, and objectives in depth. This is followed by a careful physical evaluation to determine the cause of discomfort. We will present our conclusions in understandable terms and discuss treatment possibilities. If fitting, the first therapeutic session may be initiated immediately, ensuring a clear and reassuring experience. People

I cannot recommend Alan enough. He's a kind person and he's completely passionate about what he does. He helped me every time I needed him over the years and I always felt taken care of and seen. Not only he provides excellent treatment but he also explains what's happening and how you can get better. I've recommended him to many of my friends and everyone came back as relieved and satisfied as me. Also Dee and other reception staff are the kindes people you'll meet!

I went to Morningside Chiropractic clinic for help with a trapped nerve caused by years of anxiety and tension but walked away with so much more. Dr Ben Scott is a credit to his profession. Not only did Ben alleviate my pain, he helped me work on the root cause. He treated me as a whole person and not just a body to be fixed. Every appointment felt like a mini therapy session. The whole team at Morningside were lovely and professional and I hope they continue fantastic work.

I have started my visit as I had developed back pain which has completely limited my movements. I was struggling with simple tasks like sitting, walking or even making gentle movements of my neck during eating. On top of it the amount of pain coming with it stopped me from doing everything I love. After few sessions with Alan the pain and discomfort gradually disappeared. I still can not believe how quick it took him to fix me and I am so thankful for that. Meanwhile all the advices Alan gave me regarding my condition helped me to build the knowledge in order to prevent that from happening again in the future. In general all the expirance with The Morningside Chiropractic were very positive, the staff presents very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Booking appointments was always very easy while receptionists were always trying to find the best time suiting my schedule. I can strongly recommend the place.

I haven't been feeling well for a while, suffering from neck pain for years. On top of that, I had other pain in my body, which led me to get an MRI. After consulting Alan about my neck pain, I mentioned the other issue, and he discovered it was muscular rather than something else.
He has been treating me for the past three months, and now I barely feel any pain.
Everyone in the clinic is very nice. It feels like coming home rather than visiting a clinic. The lady at the reception treats me like family and genuinely cares about my well-being.
I will never change from Alan and i am done looking elsewhere for treatment where they just tell you to do exercises rather than actually treating you.

I was dealing with quite a few issues due to sitting at a desk most days ranging from lower and upper back pain, neck issues to headaches and migraine, all linked and related. Within 4 weeks of seeing Vicky and following her programs, I got a better understanding into my issues as well as managing them at home with stretches and exercises. Since going I've no more migraines or headaches, back pains virtually gone and feeling better than I have in months. Absolutely worth it and couldn't recommend it more. Lovely team in the practise as well which always made it a pleasure going in, very friendly and accommodating for sorting appointments.

I have been getting treated by Vicky for back and neck pain for around 2 months now due to my job and heavy work load and the difference in my pain is excellent. I totally recommend Vikki for anyone with problems in their back. She is so good at what she does and now I wish I had discovered this years ago! Lovely team in the practise as well which always makes it a pleasure going in, very friendly and accommodating for sorting appointments. Even better - they provide NHS discount!

I experienced lower back pain at 30 weeks pregnant and had been recommended the clinic by someone at a pregnancy yoga class I had attended. Katie listened to the issues I was having and was able to diagnose the problem immediately and provide treatment. The relief was pretty immediate and after a number of sessions with Katie for readjustments, I am now 38 weeks pregnant and my back and pelvis continue to feel brilliant. I am extremely grateful to Katie for her support, its enabled me to carry on exercising and keep active throughout my final trimester when I had been concerned that I would be in pain for the remainder of my pregnancy.

Having slipped discs for the last 8 years and always been told to avoid a chiropractor the pain and impact on my mental health was becoming too much that I had to try something different. Honestly within weeks of starting with Vicky I feel like I am reborn. It has been the first time in a long time after a few weeks of treatment that I have been able to freely move around and control my pain. Being able to interact more with my young family also has been a massive change. Ever the professional and explains all in detail. Understanding more and more about the impact of the pain and how to get a life balance back. Honestly forever grateful. Andrew

Excellent service, so glad I found this practice. I saw Vicky for chronic knee pain back in June, at this point I was barely able to run 3 miles without limping, and had seen various physiotherapists without results. Vicky was welcoming, supportive, knowledgeable, and listened to my concerns, understanding the role running played in both my physical and mental health. She helped me to develop a long-term plan to strengthen areas of weakness, and I saw massive improvements in a short space of time. Would highly recommend!

Went to see Katie after having some pelvic pain in my second trimester. Katie was really knowledgeable and reassuring and after an assessment could immediately tell what was causing the pain. I had opted to book treatment on my first visit along with the assessment and so Katie went ahead with treatment. Everything was well explained and I left with a realistic treatment plan that it would take 2-3 sessions to resolve. Within a couple of days of the first appointment I had noticed a big improvement and following my second session was no longer having any serious pain. I will be continuing to see Katie throughout the rest of my pregnancy to treat any niggles and as a preventative measure. Could not recommend highly enough and very grateful that its allowed me to remain active!

The whole experience was seamless, from initial contact to treatment with Tony. I had been suffering from neck problems for some time and, truthfully, chiropractic services were probably a last resort. I am so pleased I found Morningside Chiropractic. Tony was very knowledgeable and listened closely to my story. The difference he has made over four treatments cannot be overstated. It really has been fantastic.
I know Tony did the "hands-on" stuff, but the reception staff should also get credit for their professionalism and friendliness.
A very satisfying experience and I would 100% recommend Morning Chiropractic

After years of knee issues from running, I came to Morningside Chiropractic for help and can't speak highly enough of the experience.
Vicky has been an incredibly warm, open and patient practitioner, being attentive and kind all the way through. I felt very welcomed and looked after, and the treatment has been a massive success. Nothing I wanted to ask ever felt like a silly question, and my physical strength and confidence have both improved massively thanks to her support.
The admin team were also very welcoming and efficient and I appreciated all the attention to detail and the little touches like the appointment reminder emails each time. Thank you so much to all involved, and keep up the excellent work!
